File this one under “Only in Japan”: a cute little robot in the style of Lady Murasaki that reads The Tail of Genji to you. She even has a little fan! Maybe I can make a little extra dough by selling some of these on eBay. It’s a little strange when there are plot parallels between my favorite comic and my favorite TV show. In “Spider-man Loves Mary Jane” (I promise, it’s a lot better than it’s name) and on “The Office” our heroines are in a pickle. They were both too blind to see Mr. Right was right in front [...] I really had no intention of renting Superman Returns, but my local Blockbuster was out of Devil Wears Prada, so then I walked to the other side of the store, only to discover Talledega Nights was gone too. Superman was right next to Talledega, so I said, “Alright, let’s see what Bryan Singer ditched X-Men [...] If the fact I read (a few) comics didn’t make me geeky enough, my favorite comic is “Spider-Man loves Mary Jane.” Yeah, I know, the name is dumb, but the comic is actually really good if you love angsty teen drama, which I do.
